GANJOJI= CHERRY PIE X SPACE CHEESE aka MrFromUnDDA

This line is named for the CHEERY TREES FROM SPACE. 

The Ganjoji Temple was home to some ancient cherry trees. In 2008 265 Cherry Pits were harvested from the celebrated CHUJO-HIME-SEIGAN-ZAKURA CHERRY TREE foundvatvthe GANJOJI TEMPLE IN GIFU. 

Selected as part of a project to gather seeds from diffrent cherry trees from 14 locations across Japan. They were taken to the INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION and were allowed to orbit the ISS 4,100 times before being returned to earth and their perspective home locations and then planted. The GANJOJI TEMPLE PIT and 4 others of the 14 planted that took the trip all started to flower within 4 years of returning to their earthly homes. A normal cherry pit takes 10 years to produce buds. The Ganjoji pit tree reproduces 9 flowers compared to the parent trees 30. The variety the Ganjoji pit came from usually bears flowers only after 8 years.

The Ganjoji is a shorter girl that will pack on weight. She handles cold well and is a easy rooting plant. She is a loud girl with lots of influence from both parents. A cherry fuel is packed by a peppery cheesy scent. She wants 62-66 days to flower. She handles training and topping well.
