Genetics: CBG Auto x 1:1 Pinewalker CBDV

Our CBG auto comes out of the original La Crema CBG seeds we purchased back in 2019. We didn’t realize it at the time, but eventually we learned that they were F2’s of OregonCBD’s White CBG. This resulted in several different flowering times; from auto-flowering, early flowering, and full photo-dependent. We also found several males in the La Crema seeds, which were later used to create our CBG autos as well as our Circles CBG line. The Circles CBG is currently available as F2’s whereas the CBG Auto line was never released, but given out as freebies.

We pollinated several of our best CBG auto females with pollen from a rare Pinewalker CBDV male. This male has a Cbd:Cbdv ratio of 1:1 and was found after growing out 40 feminized seeds of Pinewalker CBDV to produce flower for our Hemp Store. As these seeds were feminized triploids, we never intended to breed with them. That was until a 1/4000 Male landed in our lap. He is fast flowering, extremely stout, and leans towards a sativa hybrid in structure. He produces large clusters of purple hued resinous pollen sacs and reeks of sweet candy and pine. We successfully revegged this male and put him through a 6 month stress test before using him to pollinate several different autos.

Snow Pine will express varying flowering times similar to La Crema CBG. Many will be auto flowering but 25-50% will be semi-auto/early flowering. The photo-sensitive plants should finish by the end of September. And since CBG is recessive, the predominant chemotype will be Type III Cbd:Cbdv, with some plants producing CBG.
