Brad Hooper, founder of Rare Breed genetics is a born and raised 3rd generation Legacy Cannabis farmer from the depths of Humboldt. With a multi-faceted passion for plants, skateboarding and his community, he is also the co-founder of Humboldt Skate Lab and “I am Eureka”, a non profit that supports the community by providing scholarships and opportunities to young skate boarding enthusiasts.

As a conscious, non-gmo, organic breeder – Brads love for plants runs deep as a parent, with continuous research and diversification of his extensive Cannabis genetics library and a personal relationship with the plants. Taking time to back cross and stabilize cultivars as well as a multitude of stress testing practices- the care put into these rare breeds of seeds is topped by few.

Presently seen on the pages of Dank magazine of Canada and WeedWorld magazine of London, in his spare moments you can find him spending quality time with his son and family always preparing for the next seasons.

While working with various farming projects and collaborating with other breeders, Rare Breed adds a unique touch by offering exclusive short term rare drops as well as offering licensing opportunities to large farms and specialty custom breeding projects.
