Reishi Mushroom has been used by humans for thousands of years. This fungus grows in various humid climates throughout Asia. It is deeply rooted in Chinese wellness practices because of its strong presence of polysaccharides and other beneficial compounds.
Also known as “Song Shan Ling Zhi,” Reishi (Ganoderma tsugae) is highly esteemed due to its wide variety of uses. It has traditionally been used to support daily stress, help improve sleep, lessen fatigue, and balance immune system function. Reishi is also rich in triterpenes, which have been studied for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
In traditional and contemporary Chinese medicine reishi is admired as a tonic for benefitting vital energy or “Qi”. The fruiting body has a multitude of constituents, most notably polysaccharides called beta-glucans, which are water soluble. It also contains alcohol soluble triterpenes. These and many other aspects of reishi support the body’s immune defenses and immune health to help you stay feeling your best.* These beneficial mushrooms are considered adaptogenic and are regularly prepared as tea, used in herbal broths and soups, and are extracted to create tinctures.
Our tincture uses chopped mushrooms instead of finely ground. We soak the pieces in organic sugar cane ethanol 30% to preserve the most therapeutic properties without over processing.
Suggested use: 0.5ml twice daily. Grown, extracted & bottled by hand.
