SEED SOAK: 1/4 tsp per gallon; soak tomato seeds 72 hrs, cabbage & squash 48 hrs, potatoes 12 hrs, and most other vegetable seeds 24 hrs before planting. Water seedlings at transplanting with same rate. CONTAINER GARDENING USE: 1/8 – 1/4 tsp per gallon every watering HYDROPONICS: 1/8 – 1/4 tsp per gallon of nutrient solution used in reservoir (use with every reservoir change; top-offs can be charged with half to quarter normal rate). Ful-Humix is a dry, mostly soluble humic product derived from agricultural grade, raw (non-soluble) humates. Our mother source is estimated to be 45 million years old. Unwinding and solubilizing this ancient material using typical extraction methods, such as high heat, denatures and reduces efficacy. Instead, we developed a dry to dry conversion method for creating Ful-Humix without the aid of heat, resulting in a product that has superior performance in the field. And, unlike raw humic substances, Ful-Humix is concentrated, easy to blend, cost effective to ship and readily available for today’s crops. Only pounds are needed instead of tons! In it’s dry form, Ful-Humix is stable indefinitely (liquid humic acids degrade). Location, Location, Location Humic substances vary greatly in source, concentration and quality. The best sources for agriculture are formed in the presence of fresh water where large-leafed plants (cycads, euphorbia etc) grew during the cretaceous period. Most deposits around the world, including Leonardite, were formed in salt water where grasses (sedge and reeds etc) grew during the older carboniferous period. This older material is more closely related to coal and oxidized slack lignite and very low in the biostimulating fraction. There are few working deposits that have both desirable attributes: fresh water formation and protection from weathering and oxidation. BioAg uses premium humic substances, formed in fresh water, that have been protected from cracking and uplift. They are high in all the important fractions. Even in a single formation, deposits a few miles apart can have significantly different qualities. Because of the large degree of differences in source materials it’s important to work with specialists who understand what to look and test for. What is Ful-Humix? Ful-Humix is a high quality humic powder made by BioAg. Average humic content is 50% by the CDFA preferred method (not total acids). Why add Ful-Humix to my fertilizer program? Ful-Humix is a premium, agricultural grade humic substance, sourced specifically for the grower market (i.e. not low grade overburden from coal like many other products). According to the state of California and Oregon it “may increase micronutrient uptake.” How does Ful-Humix effect soil biology? FuI-Humix adds carbon. Carbon is not only essential for balancing the carbon to nitrogen ratio, but is also invaluable for maintaining an optimum microbial community. It has been demonstrated that humic(s) in Ful-Humix STIMULATE BENEFICIAL SOIL BACTERIA AND FUNGAL BIOMASS AND ACTIVITY. Is Ful-Humix water soluble and readily available? Ful-Humix is ~85% water soluble. Unlike raw or “suspendable” humate, which can take many years to break down, it’s readily available, and concentrated. Because of a unique manufacturing method that improves product efficacy, approximately 15% is insoluble humin and mineral. If using a sprayer, and concerned with clogging, settle this portion out and add it to your outside garden soil separately. Is Ful-Humix listed for use in organic farming? Humic substances are important for growers. Fu I-Hum ix is listed by OMRI and OIM. The parent material(s) are sourced from within the United States. Does Ful-Humix expire or go bad? In dry form Ful-Humix has no expiration date unlike most liquid humic products. Favorite Uses: Ful-Humix can be used in a wide variety of systems. It’s very beneficial for outdoor or greenhouse soils. When using humic substances it’s best to use at intervals throughout the plant cycle, rather than one shot.

PLEASE NOTE: FOR COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS, FOLIAR RATES ARE TYPICALLY ABOUT 1 GRAM PER GALLON OF CARRIER WATER.* ADD THE FUL-HUMIX TO WATER SLOWLY WHILE AGITATING WATER (DO NOT ADD THE FUL-HUMIX AND THEN THE WATER ON TOP OR YOU’RE LIKELY GOING TO FORM A PASTE). USING HOT WATER, ESPECIALLY WHEN TRYING TO USE THE MAXIMUM PER GALLON, IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. WHERE HOT WATER IS NOT AVAILABLE ROOM TEMPERATURE OR WARM WATER WILL WORK, ESPECIALLY FOR FOLIAR RATES. DO NOT BLEND WITH SOLUTIONS WITH A pH BELOW 5.5, OR THAT HAVE A HIGH CALCIUM CONTENT OR HIGH CARBONATE CONTENT (FOR THE CARBONATES NEUTRALIZATION WITH ACID SHOULD BE SUFFICIENT). ONE EXAMPLE WOULD BE A BORDEAUX MIX WHICH CONTAINS LIME. AGITATE VIGOROUSLY (THE LONGER THE BETTER). ALLOW THE MIXTURE TO SETTLE AND THEN POUR OFF ONLY THE LIQUID PORTION, LEAVING SEDIMENT BEHIND (THE PRODUCT IS ABOUT 15% INSOLUBLE). USING A FILTER TO HELP OMIT THE SEDIMENT MAY BE USEFUL EVEN IF IT IS SOMETHING CRUDE LIKE LANDSCAPE CLOTH, AN OLD PILLOW CASE, SHIRT ETC. IT WILL STILL BE IMPORTANT TO ADD MATERIAL SLOWLY SO IT DOES NOT FORM DRY CLUMPS.
