Sour Legacy

There are numerous tales associated with the origins of Sour Diesel. As with most modern elite clones, Sour Diesel is the product of bag seed.

It all started with Chemdog. Bag seed was collected by New York growers Almonso and Maxwell from Chemdog flowers. Those seeds produced a female that was pollinated by an unknown pollen donor.

Seeds from those flowers were germinated by the glass artist known as Sour Silicate, and the result was Sour Diesel – a cultivar that forever changed the cannabis landscape.

Decades after its inception, it is still in high demand and generally regarded as one of the most impactful cannabis varieties in modern times, producing countless hybrids.
